• GFL is organized and managed by the non-profit organization Grass Root Africa Basketball Foundation
• All funds generated from our leagues go towards the rehabilitation of our orphanage
• Our secondary objective is to bring the best competition in the game together for a fun filled experience
• The games are to be played on Sundays starting 7/03/2022 with 11 am to 6 pm start times
• Game schedules are emailed and posted weekly
• Our game locations are at Light House Christian School, 5100 Blue Hole Rd, Antioch, TN, or at Smithson Craig Head Academy, 730 Neelys Bend Rd, Nashville, TN
• Gym location is emailed out weekly
• 8 regular season games with 3 KO round playoff games
• 10 teams can max sign up with a minimum of 8 players
• Team registration fee is $600 and free agent fee is $75
• All players must be 21 years of age or older
• Jersey Requirement: Teams are to coordinate within themselves jersey color and numbering
• Winning team will be awarded prizes
• All cancellations will be posted on IG, via text/email

Project 5

Grab Foundation is hosting a men’s basketball league across the midtown Nashville area to help build a dining food hall for over 300 hungry orphans in Suleja, Western Africa.
The orphans of Angwan Zumra Orphanage have been under our care for two years now. We are taking the initiative to bring the best basketball players together in a humanitarian cause to help raise funds for this amazing project.
At the moment, our orphans only get to eat once a day. They are limited to a plate of white rice every day that leaves them hungry and malnourished.

Instead of seeking donations, our team has put together this league to not only bring entertainment and good basketball to Middle Tennessee, Nashville, but also use our blessings to bless those in need.
